Oak Park, Chicago, 2026, Commercial
This two-bedroom short-term stay apartment was thoughtfully curated with warm materials, clean lines, and a clutter-free aesthetic to create a simple, inviting retreat. Every element of the space was intentionally selected to create a restful place that balances comfort with sustainable design.
Designed to encourage focus, the apartment offers a retreat-like atmosphere for deep work, reflection, and creative thinking. High-performance insulation, energy-efficient windows, and an all-electric design create a quiet, comfortable environment year-round, minimizing distractions and inviting guests to fully enter a state of flow.
Natural wood, white plaster walls, and calm view corridors establish a restful backdrop throughout the apartment. Carefully curated artwork—including a portrait of one of Oak Park's most celebrated residents, Ernest Hemingway—serves as a quiet reminder that great ideas often begin in thoughtfully designed spaces.
